If you click on the icon "Make
bald head"
located in the Actions toolset, this window will appear.
This function makes it possible to remove your model's existing hairstyle and thus make it
easier to try on new hairstyles without having the original hair showing. The process of
forming a bald head consists of two stages: you first remove the existing hair
and then you reconstruct the head's natural form. The window's work area displays the
model's image. If the portrait is bigger than the work area, you can use the horizontal
and vertical scroll bars to shift the image
Stage 1:

At first you will see an "Eraser
mode" icon
and
a slider
for changing the size
of the eraser. The aim of the first stage is to remove the existing hairstyle with the
help of eraser. To erase an existing hairstyle move the cursor over the area to be erased
while holding down the left mouse button. If you hold down the right mouse button instead,
the area you have erased will be restored. When you are finished, click on the
"Eraser mode" icon to go on to the second stage.
Stage 2:

The aim of this stage is to reconstruct the
natural form of the head. An ellipse will appear superimposed over the image to help you
reconstruct the form of the head. You can change the size of the ellipse by moving the
rectangle which frames the ellipse. To move the ellipse within the work area, place the
cursor inside it, click with the left mouse button and, keeping it pressed, move the
ellipse to desired position. To move the chord bisecting the ellipse, move the
intersection points of the chord and the sides of the rectangle that frames the ellipse.
This chord defines the bottom of the area over which the bald head will be formed. When
the ellipse has been set in the right place and has the right shape, click on the icon
"Make bald head"
. If
you are not satisfied with the results and want to return to the first stage click on
"Bald head mode" icon
, otherwise click on
OK
.
